The fact that Harry Potter was written on a Word Document format on a computer freaks me out. J.K. writing Harry Potter looks just like me writing a paper for my Shakespeare class an hour before its due…It just seems too simple for something so extraordinary.

I always imagined her sitting in some sort of grandiose chair and her writing with a huge quilled pen or speaking the words aloud and them magically appearing a large, floating piece of paper or something. A process that could equate to the product, I suppose.

My wife and I both worked hard in school and went on to earn graduate degrees.  Now together we earn over $100K.  We own our house and we are raising two wonderful children.  We are proud of the success we have earned.
BUT, we recognize that those below us on the income ladder are also working hard or are seeking work.
We recognize that the society we live in needs people who will stock store shelves, clean the floors, drive delivery trucks, operate cash registers, and do many other low paying tasks.
Since these jobs need doing, we recognize that the workers who do them deserve to be able to live lives of dignity – that is, lives that are not blighted by poverty or crippling financial insecurity or lack of health care.
So WE THE PEOPLE must provide a safety net for each other. It is simple decency, not to mention justice.

This is a better example of what I agree with.  Money is such a hard thing for people to talk about including myself.  There is a lot of bias and ignorance.  Both things a lot of us are guilty of with this topic.
While I support the 99% movement my major concern is a demonization of small business owners, when the REAL enemy are the elite super rich who fire thousands of Americans when there business’ fail and retreat back to their hundreds of millions of dollars while the little guy gets in an unemployment line.

In honor of waking up specially for Pottermore and this whole registration thing, I have made a new self-portrait of myself! I honestly believe it is one of my better works. I have even taken the liberty of labeling it so that you can all appreciate the fine detail and time that went into making this 15-minute masterpiece.
ENJOY! <3
